Where can I locate the main water shut off for my home?
There are lots of places it may be located. If you have your own personal water meter and are not on a community water plan you'll be able to shut the water off at the water meter using a meter key. If you have a basement or even a crawl space then the water line might be entering the house on the front wall and then go up in to the ceiling. If you've got a cement slab foundation then the water shut off valve is generally near the water heater in the house or garage. You may also check in the laundry room.
